For clients of home care organisations in Haaglanden. Home care looks after the client and puts the laundry bag in a wash or ironing box; we pick up on fixed days, wash or iron everything, and bring it back. Often payable via the PGB budget.

Home care & PGB clients

More and more older people, or people with a care indication, are staying in their own homes — with support from a home care organisation that comes by for personal care, medication and basic household help. What is not structurally part of that support is the full washing and ironing: it falls outside the regular home care indication and easily takes the carer an hour per client.

We have a fixed working model for this. The client is our customer — not the home care organisation. The home care worker puts the dirty laundry in a wash box or ironing box at the front door, at an agreed time. We collect on a set day of the week, treat it at our laundry on the Henricuskade, and deliver everything back, neatly folded or on hangers, to the same front door — usually on the same day.

For the client this means: a clean, ironed cupboard, without a relative having to drive back and forth every week. For the home care worker this means: more time for the actual care work. For the family this means: a single point of contact and a clear monthly invoice.

Many of our home care clients pay for our service from their Personal Care Budget (PGB). We support that payment flow: we provide monthly invoices that fit into the PGB administration, and we can help with including a laundry service in the care plan.
